Terms of use
How you may use FlatTurno — Company Desk, the Flatmate app, Telegram, and this website. Working beta terms; we will publish a counsel-reviewed version when the entity pack is final.
These Terms of use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of FlatTurno: the public marketing website, Company Desk (web portal), the Flatmate Android app (including APK downloads), the Telegram bot, and related APIs. FlatTurno’s private Admin control plane is not covered as a consumer product.
FlatTurno is software for co-living operations. We are not a landlord, housing provider, or party to any rental or lodging contract between a company and its flatmates.
These Terms are a working product summary for the current beta. They are not a substitute for a counsel-reviewed contract. We may update them; the version on this page applies from the date of publication.
1. Who these Terms are for
- Companies — organisations that register or are invited to Company Desk to manage sites, flats, staff, billing, and reception tools.
- Flatmates — people who use the Flatmate Android app and/or the FlatTurno Telegram bot for chores, bookings, Away, household economy, and tickets.
- Visitors — anyone browsing the marketing site or submitting a public Contact form.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate registration details and keep credentials confidential.
- Flatmate accounts: you must be at least 16 years old (or the higher age required where you live).
- Company accounts must be opened by an adult authorised to bind that organisation.
- Company staff join by invitation. Flatmates typically register in the app (launch users may join Blink · Malaga automatically) and then Join a Flat by unit, or register a room via Telegram as instructed by their company.
3. What the service does
Depending on your role and plan, FlatTurno may provide chore turn rotation (bins, dishwasher, cleaning when enabled), TV and kitchen bookings, Away, a household shared-costs ledger, tickets to company reception or to FlatTurno Support, household chat (the flat group, the building Reception group, and chats with other flatmates), and company Desk tools for sites, flats, staff, and billing.
The company that operates a flat is responsible for how it uses FlatTurno with its own flatmates and portfolio. Household “Economy” between flatmates is separate from Company Desk subscription billing.
4. Plans, billing, and Free
- Companies may start on a Free shell. Desk capacity (sites, flats, staff) unlocks on paid plans as described on the Subscription page and inside Desk.
- Paid subscriptions, add-ons, and upgrades are managed in Company Desk (Company → Billing). Checkout may be processed by a payment partner (for example Paddle). Published list prices may appear later on the website.
- By registering a company or upgrading, you agree that plan limits and billing status shown in Desk control what features you may use.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use FlatTurno only for lawful, reasonable household and co-living operations. You must not:
- Attempt to bypass authentication, access controls, rate limits, or another customer’s data;
- Probe, scrape, or overload the service in a way that harms availability;
- Send spam, abuse, or harassing content through tickets, messages, or the bot;
- Use the service for illegal activity, or upload content you have no right to use;
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when registering or contacting Support.
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe these rules are broken, or to protect the platform and other users.
6. Third parties: Telegram and Android APK
- Telegram is a third-party service. Use of the FlatTurno bot is also subject to Telegram’s terms and policies. We do not control Telegram’s availability or group settings.
- Android APK downloads from FlatTurno may be distributed outside an app store during beta. Installing sideloaded software carries device security risks; only install from our official download link and verify checksums when we publish them.
7. Intellectual property
FlatTurno branding, software, and documentation remain owned by the FlatTurno operator. You receive a limited, revocable right to use the service according to your plan and these Terms. You keep ownership of content you submit (flat data, messages, tickets), and you grant us the rights needed to host and operate the service for you.
8. Availability and beta
FlatTurno is provided as a live product still evolving (including launch/demo tenants such as Blink). We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and we do not currently publish an SLA. Features may change with notice on the site or in-product when practical.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FlatTurno is provided “as is.” We are not liable for housing disputes, unpaid rent, or decisions a company or flatmate makes using the tools. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer or other law (including for fraud or wilful misconduct).
10. Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy notice. For questions: hello@flatturno.com.
11. Contact, law, and updates
Contact: hello@flatturno.com. The primary market for this site is Spain (flatturno.com / related FlatTurno domains). These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory protections that apply where you live. Courts of Spain have jurisdiction, subject to those mandatory protections.
If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms when permitted by law.
